Wide Bay Ride Calendar

Welcome to the Southern Cross Wide Bay Ride Calendar. New rides including contact and meeting information will appear in here as rides are decided on, so add this page to your favourites. Events such as rally's from other clubs, will also appear in this area.

If you have suggestions on rides be that a day or overnight please contact Michael or Eleise.  All suggestions welcome, for 2009 we want to pack as many fun things and rides in as possible, so help us out.

Rides

Some suggestions so far – Mt Perrie (Joint Gladstone Overnighter), Night/Midnight Ride, 1770, Kin Kin, Kadanga.  Woodgate or Bucca are good overnighters, Kenilworth, day ride to Imbil.  Please let us know if you have requests/suggestions,

 

Weekend Rides

DATE: Normally Every Sunday 8-8.30am

Woodgate Day Ride 1 Feb 2009.  Greg & Gabe, Stan, Gary, Michael I, Michael II, Deb, Tammy & Desley. Missing from photo are Eleise, Chris I, Chris II, Dave, Steve & Trish who were also present

DETAILS – A small group of 5 or more riders usually leave Torbanlea for day rides to different locations, stopping for lunch somewhere interesting every Sunday depending on weather.

Southern Cross National General meeting (AGM)

WHEN:    04 April 2010 - Emerald Show Ground Capricorn Highway Emerald.

DETAILS: National general meeting commences 9.30am.    This is a big weekend in Emerald, so if you don’t intend to camp at the Showgrounds then you will need to get to the accommodation houses ASAP to make a booking.  The AGM will be held at the Emerald Showgrounds, there will be plenty of camping spots at the grounds.
